Ich glaube ich schau mir die auch mal wieder an. Die hatte leider in vergangenen Versionen eher Probleme gemacht als das sie mal ordentlich funktionierte.

in den repos von ubuntu ist zwar ebenfalls virtualbox.....aber eine ältere version......so hat man immer die neueste zur hand.... :good:

eigentlich wollte ich virtualbox schon längere zeit probieren....dachte das das ding irgendwie kompliziert zu handhaben ist.... :-D

virtualbox ist schneller und einfach installiert als man annimmt.....und der hammer!
warum bin ich eigentlich nicht schon früher draufgekommen.... :biggrinn:

Ich setze auch schon lange auf VMs. Schnell, einfach und man belastet das Hauptsystem nicht. Und gerade zum Testen von alternativ-Systemen ist das unglaublich praktisch.

du hast recht....mir tun sich gerade neue welten auf.... :-D

ich wollte schon immer eine anleitung zur installation eines linux betriebssystemes schreiben.....vom einlegen der installations-cd beginnend.....konnte ich aber bis jetzt nicht....denn die screenshotprogramme sind natürlich bei der installation noch nicht installiert.....jetzt kann ich das und das sogar bequem von meinem kde aus..... :good:

es ist ja bereits fast ein zwang bei mir, immer die neuesten linux distris zu testen.....dank paragon war die installation derselben kein problem und auch das zurücksetzen.....
das ist jetzt noch bequemer geworden und erspart viel zeit.... :good:

Ich habe die Anleitungen für Linux Mint, Clonezilla oder auch denn TDSS Rootkit Test mit der VirtualBox gemacht.

Zusätzlich zu der Möglichkeit der Screenshots kann man auch noch praktischerweise verschiedene Snapshots speichern, um z.B. verschiedene Installationsmöglichkeiten oder so bequem zu testen.

Also ohne VM geht eigentlich gar nix mehr. :good:
